Before arriving in Australia, Dave discovered that his cousin Tepa lived just outside of Melbourne with his wife Leiana and their sweet son, Hunter. We were so happy to be able to meet up with Tepa and his family and catch up over lunch at a local shopping mall. Even though this was our first time to meet, there were instant family vibes!

The mall itself had a fun twist: it was built around an old shot tower! Coop’s Shot Tower was built in 1889 and converted to a modern-day shopping mall in 1991. There’s even a museum tucked away at the base of the tower, which you enter through a clothing shop. Unexpected history in the middle of a shopping trip!
